The Australian Mobile Telecommunications Association (AMTA) is the supreme body and trusted voice of the Australian mobile telecommunications industry and operates MobileMuster, a free mobile phone recycling program.
AMTA delivers economic, environmental and social impact programs on behalf of its members to bring about positive change for a mobile future for all Australians. Its members include mobile network service providers, handset manufacturers, network equipment suppliers, retail outlets and other industry suppliers.
AMTA manages MobileMuster, the product management program for the telecommunications industry and is accredited by the federal government. It is voluntarily funded by major handset manufacturers and network operators to provide a free cell phone recycling program in Australia to the highest environmental standards. The program is committed to raising awareness and educating the community about repair, reuse and recycling.
We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to primarily take responsibility for the implementation of MobileMuster’s Marketing and Communications activity, which includes campaign deployment, communications with stakeholders and distribution partners, educational activities and management of the website and all social media channels.
The Director of Marketing and Communications will also work on a wide range of other AMTA initiatives and activities, including corporate communications and stakeholder engagement.
