Fortinet Appoints Vishak Raman as Vice President of India Sales, SAARC and Southeast Asia

Fortinet has announced the appointment of Vishak Raman to a new role as vice president of sales in India, SAARC and Southeast Asia.

Vishak Raman brings with him over two decades of cybersecurity experience with proven expertise in product management, sales, marketing and business development. Previously, as Senior Regional Manager, India and SAARC at Fortinet, he was instrumental in establishing and growing Fortinet’s technology leadership and success in India. He has also set up a one-of-a-kind technical support center in Bangalore, which has over 200 engineers providing 24/7 support to Fortinet customers in India and the Middle East.

Joe Sarno, Sr. Vice President International Sales – Emerging & APJ at Fortinet said, “We are delighted to welcome back Vishak Raman to lead Fortinet’s India, SAARC and Southeast Asia businesses. He brings considerable experience and knowledge of the cybersecurity market to add to our leadership team. Prior to Fortinet, he was Director of Security Business, India and SAARC at Cisco. Vishak, who holds an engineering degree and a post-graduate degree in business management from IIM Ahmedabad, has also held various positions at FireEye, Tata Communications, WatchGuard, Sify and HCl Technologies.
