Dallas, Texas, October 25, 2021 – CircleGx, Zyter and Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. announced today that they will collaborate to foster digital equity with broadband infrastructure in Dallas County communities with the goal of fostering accessibility for use in education, health, emergency services, business and more. Circle Gx will deploy a fixed wireless broadband network called “Planted Circle” to communities in Dallas County, Texas. The network will initially begin with the deployment of over 20 LTE Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) cell sites powered by Qualcomm® RAN platforms, and will include smart lighting, with outdoor and indoor CPEs equipped with a platform. In the “Planted Circle” project, Zyter will deploy, manage, monitor and operate the city’s private fixed wireless broadband network on the Zyter SmartSpaces ™ Internet of Things (IoT) platform. As a key Qualcomm Technologies collaborator for the Qualcomm® Smart Cities Accelerator ecosystem, the SmartSpaces platform breaks information silos by integrating and consolidating data from IoT devices and applications into a seamless interface.
