AMC Networks International Central & Northern Europe extends its long-term distribution agreement with Orange Romania Group – AMC Networks Inc.


Bucharest, July 18, 2022 – AMC Networks International Central & Northern Europe (AMCNI CNE) and Orange Romania Group (Orange Romania, Orange Romania Communications and NextGen Communications) announce the multi-year renewal of the distribution agreement, guaranteeing subscribers long-term access to the diversified portfolio of AMCNI Entertainment. Following this agreement, Orange Romania, Orange Romania Communications and NextGen Communications will broadcast six AMCNI channels to its subscribers: AMC, Filmcafe, JimJam, Minimax, TV Paprika and CBS Reality.

Moreover, with this agreement, AMC, Filmcafe, TV Paprika and Minimax will be distributed in the basic packages of all the main Romanian platforms, expanding the distribution of the portfolio and reaching the vast majority of pay TV subscribers.

AMC viewers will get access to the latest episodes of the global hit series Fear the living dead along with the world premiere, as well as the final episodes of one of the world’s most popular dramas, You better call Saul. The newly rebranded channel, Filmcafe, offers a wide range of films to Romanian viewers, such as The Lost City of Z, Desperado and Eyes wide closed. TV Paprika fans are entitled to new local productions, Urban stories with Robert Petrescu and the next fall show with Radu Dumitrescu. Minimax also features a variety of premieres, including the latest season of The Boss Baby: back in businessthe new series Barbie: It takes two, and new episodes of Jurassic World: Cretaceous Camp.
